Chasing flow at the Lagoon
One of my favourite places to shoot for water flow has to be the rocks at the northern end of North Beach. So many little gaps and edges for the water to cascade down.
So many different compositions to be found around the rocks, as well as the fun of trying not to get you or your gear splashed as the waves crash over the rocks in front of you
Getting distracted by waves and the sights I see around the beach are some of my favourite times. Mostly cause although I enjoy shooting long exposures, I really hate juggling filters to limit the light getting through the lens. Once the light is too bright I turn to waves and a more street style or sport photography if any surfers are around
Most people love finding layers across mountains, I love finding them in the ocean with waves
Last thing I found on this day was a giggle of galahs, did you know that is the collective noun for galahs? A giggle, if you’ve ever seen them playing around in a tree you would know it is very on brand
As always don’t forget to check out the rest of the
