Coledale Re-Visit
After only visiting Coledale for the first time last month I figured it deserved another look, only this time I timed it with a high tide. One of the things I love about shooting along the coastline is the ever changing nature of the beaches and rock shelves. With the tides, swell and sand placement always changing it really opens up new options for creativity in photography. On arrival at the pool the waves were already overflowing the sides and crashing across the rocks
On arrival at the pool the waves were already overflowing the sides and crashing across the rocks. With some heavy clouds hindering any chance of a sunrise it made for some nice moody scenes.
As always the mountains and in this case the coastal houses make great backgrounds for photography. This cutout section of rock kept being swamped by waves, which then formed nice little water falls as the flow retreated back into the ocean
Overall I had fun playing around with the different flow elements around the pool and rocks. Definitely somewhere to add to the list of places that I should be visiting more regular
