Golden Corrimal
After a week spent in Bali eating and drinking way too much you would think my body would want to catch up on some sleep. But no, as usual I was awake well before the sun so seeing as I hadn’t been out for photos at all this month, even in Bali. I stepped out the front door and was met by this scene directly across the road, luckily I already had my long lens on to get this nice silhouette.
Once I arrived at the beach I was greeted by the most vibrant orange sky. I love finding a nice frame I haven’t shot before. This view was squeezed between a tree and the toilet block. You can’t really see it here but there is a person walking along the beach with two dogs
Found this Kite hovering around the sand dunes looking for some breakfast. Tried to get a photo of him diving down to catch some prey but it was way too quick for me which is a common theme when shooting birds. Just have to be content with some nice details on the hovering pose
Took plenty of photos around the pool including quite a few of the seagulls before being distracted by the golden light interacting with the waves
Loved the line up of birds here and it got even better when one gull stuck its head up a bit higher than the rest. This is a shot I’ve done before during Crossfit comps with people on air bikes, always seems to be one person that sits a little higher than the rest.
