Walk Around the Harbour
Started this mornings walk with some nice ICM panning images. I always try a few different colour edits but find myself drawn to the more natural looks more often than not
Then found the line of norfolk pines that border the area between the beach and park looking incredible with the early morning glow across the sky
The council beach comber was out giving the sand a good clean, I took a couple of normal shots with the sun about to rise beyond the horizon then decided to try a slow shutter panning shot to capture the motion of the tractor. I think it came out ok but let me know what you think
Took more images of the rock pool nestled in amongst the rockshelf between North Beach and the Harbour. A lone swimmer helped to get me some really nice images.
Noticed a couple of people on a surf ski with some nice colour in the sky, so took a quick snap while I was shooting around the pool
Then found a pelican resting above the old wooden jetty on top of the last light pole.
This one is a little different with more of a street photography vibe, I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come walking through to get their shadow on the wall here. Unfortunately it didn’t eventuate so I moved on and about 2 minutes after I walked up and across the walkway to the upper street level some went past me to head down the stairs exactly where I needed them minutes earlier.
Thought this scene looked nice with the little dinghy tied up, a person fishing beyond the lighthouse and a rare moment of no cars parked in the way
Did a lap around Flagstaff Hill and got a few shots of City Beach including this one I really like. A nice bright image of the lifeguard tower with the fence posts in the foreground
Some more shadow play on the way back to the car with this guy walking up the steps from North Beach to the Bathers Pavilion. and that was pretty much the morning covered.
