Perfect Corrimal
I got out of bed and did a quick check of the weather, seen the sky about to light up and took off and was at the beach about 15 minutes later. As you can see the sky was close to exploding with colour.
I saw these 3 surfers walking down the beach and after processing couldn’t decide if I liked the black and white or colour version, so I’ve put the black and white here and you will find the colour version in the gallery below.
Got some really nice panning shots with the colour in the sky and the smallish waves around
While chasing the panning shots I happened to turn around and noticed a pink streak across the clouds above the lifeguard tower. Got low to get the reflection on the wet sand and even had a very co-operative seagull stand still enough for my slow shutter
Small person big landscape is a staple of my shooting. Luckily for me this surfer stood in the perfect spot, knee deep in the water with the sky exploding above them and I couldn’t resist taking this image
While this was happening a lady walked into the surf for a swim and her dog tried to follow. The pup was getting smashed by the waves but didn’t give up and stayed there until their human came back out to greet them under the brilliant sky. As I was leaving I got her email and sent the photos to her cause we can never have too many pics with our fur babies
I spent the rest of the morning just snapping some different shots as the sun rose, a couple are shared below you will find the rest in the gallery at the end of this page
