Wombarra Waters

The first thing that caught my eye at Wombarra was the water textures in the pool. The breeze blowing on the water was creating incredible ripple patterns across the surface of the pool.

I wasn’t really finding much else of interest while I waited for the sun to come up past the clouds again

Even shooting the moon had me using the water texture to add a foreground to the images

Decided the wide angle wasn’t working for me so went up to the car to change lenses. Had to get one shot of the pool from up there before changing though.

With the long lens I played around with a couple of moon shots

Found some light hitting the mountain as the sun cleared the clouds on the horizon. I can see a face in this rocky outcrop with the way the shadows and light are falling across it. Anyone else see it?

Got some nice muted colours in a small stream of water reflecting the sky with the corner of the pool sneaking into frame

More water textures with the long lens

The golden glow across the pool with a very shallow depth of field

With the graffiti on the walls here I felt like a grungier sort of edit fitted it nicely. I really like this one for some reason

Finally a shot across the pool in the other direction. With a cloudy sky and the sun shining it gives a completely different vibe to the previous image

As always don’t forget to check out the rest of the

images from the morning in the gallery below
